Ice Twizzle has been created with furthering the sport in mind, also to help skaters get out there and be heard, but most of all, to bring us together. We are stronger together. So lets unite!

Ice twizzle is a figure skating web site written by skaters for skaters. its a growing resource that is already hitting a big audience.
Maybe you would like a bit of skating fame on line or just want to promote your local rink, go ahead and write about it and send it in to us.
If you would like, you can have your name and face next to the article including links to your social media or URL.

Kinds of things you might want to shout about
OK, so here is the punch line, write about what you are passionate about, what will help you, what ever flows.
#1. Your events
Productions
So you are in a local ice production or even a national one going on tour! And want to draw some fans, put some bums on seats, that’s great, write it up, send us your photos, lets get it out there. We can advertise your event, host posters, show directions and ticket prices and we will do it for free. Anything that promotes the sport is welcome at Ice Twizzle.
#3. Your club
Advertise your club for free!
So you are a member of a great club, you want to support it and get it out there to the local and even national community. Why just rely on social media when you can use the enormous power of the google search engine and send your topic global.
Perhaps you are in an ice dance club and are looking to increase your numbers, maybe a synchro club looking for a few members to get a team together. May be you just want to promote your next special event at your free skating club. We want to know. Send us your idea to [email protected].
#4. Your rink
Is there something you say about your local rink, are you proud and want to put it on the map. Lets get it out there. Maybe there is a special event at your rink or may be you just want to publicize your group of skating friends and tell the world what you are up to. Now is your chance.
#5. Your page or social media
So we all know that when you put a post out on social media, not everyone gets to see it right? And whats more, its not really searchable content is it. The algorithms are sort of stacked against us right? So why not have a page on a solid URL that you can link to and link from. Real searchable content. As long as what you have to say is good and promotes ice skating we are happy to host what you have to say.
#6 Calling all super fans
Maybe you have your favorite skating star that you want to shout about. If know more about a skater than they know about them selves then we want to know. If you are following them around the world and want to have your say about their latest success then give us a shout. (P.S We are hear to promote the sport, so it is unlikely we will publish negative or derogatory content)
#7 Coaches
Are you a coach that would like to talk about ice skating. Maybe you would like to talk about your coaching skills or have us put up a portfolio page for you to link to. Us figure skaters respect the coaches most of all, so we would love you to talk to YOUR people.
#8 Give us your ideas
If you have an idea that would benefit you and would be good for the greater skating community, then send it too us. The worst that could happen is we say no. BUt the best is that we both create something amazing together that helps you and helps the greater ice skating community.

A few rules
So there has to be rules right? Yes there does. Ice Twizzle is a gift to the skating community. As we aim to promote this wonderful sport of figure skating, we don’t want to hear any derogatory comments that do not promote the sport.
We also will not publish anything that is obviously wrong, like racism, sexism etc.
Images – If you send in images to support your article, then they will need to be your images (or if not, we will need the permission of who ever owns them to publish them on the site) and we will need to you to complete a permission form to display on the internet.
